BHEC aims to build capacity among health educators engaged in the work with a space to collectively strategize in moving anti-racism in Black health and life forward. Through network development, health care professionals and scholars connect and bring emerging and pervasive issues experienced within the academy and field to the community and problem solve. BHEC facilitates connections and discussions to effect changes in institutional engagement with and action on anti-Black racism within health and health care.
