Transforming education is critical to unlearn misinformation, including the experiences of Black populations. Addressing structural white supremacy and the race-biology myths that persist in health is critical to improving Black health. Applying Critical Race Theory in medical, public health and health professional education is key in addressing Black health and anti-Black racism in health care and public health. BHEC focuses on curriculum development, education, faculty development and training, anchored in Critical Race Theory, for students, faculty, clinicians, and practitioners in health disciplines.
